2007 Region

Training Camps

*Note: Gymnasts attending camps must be accompanied by a coach

April 30, 2007 Team 7 Edge (following Level 10 Regionals)

Who: All gymnasts who have qualified to Level 10 nationals (plus alternates) and their coaches

Summary: The focus of this camp is to unify the gymnasts and coaches in preparation for the best outcome at nationals.

June 2-3, 2007 Future Prospects

Who: Any gymnast, 12 years and younger, who competed in optionals in 2007. Registration limited to the first 80 registrants.

Where: Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex, Landover, MD

Summary: Focus is on technique, shape, drills, progressions.

July 13-15, 2007 Pre-Season Prep

Who: Gymnasts who competed in optionals in 2007 and will be competing Levels 8-10 in 2008.

Levels 8/9 (July 13,14) : 1^st 100 registrants

Levels 9/10 (July 14,15): 1^st 100 Registrants

Where: Apollo Gymnastics, Woodbridge, VA

Summary: Focus is on skill upgrades and supplemental training

October 20-21, 2007 High Performance

Who: All Level 9 and 10 gymnasts who qualified to Nationals/Easterns, plus alternates, are invited to attend

Where: TBD

Summary: Focus is on high level skill technique, regional team building
